The i9010 Sealed Lithium Battery Smoke Alarm is a long-life, maintenance-free fire safety device designed to provide reliable protection for up to 10 years without the need for battery replacement. It uses ionization sensing technology to detect fast-flaming fires quickly, offering early warning protection for residential environments.
This alarm features a fully sealed lithium battery system, which is permanently integrated into the unit. The device automatically activates when mounted on the bracket, eliminating the need for pull-tabs, switches, or manual setup. Once installed, it provides continuous protection throughout its entire lifespan.
The i9010 includes Hush™ technology, allowing users to temporarily silence nuisance alarms, and an Alarm Memory feature, which indicates if the alarm has been triggered since the last reset by flashing LED signals.
At the end of its 10-year life, the unit provides an end-of-life alert and can be safely deactivated using a simple tool such as a screwdriver. A built-in lockout mechanism ensures that a deactivated unit cannot be reinstalled, enhancing safety and preventing reuse beyond its intended lifespan.
